Web destinations: The top 10 most visited travel sites

A new report out today from Hitwise UK looks at where British web users go when they're planning or considering a getaway. The report covers travel and holiday accommodation as well as destinations including resorts, tourist locations and hotels.

Of course, UK travellers are free to visit foreign sites for their travel needs. How many do just that? Hitwise reveals that just under a quarter of UK travel shoppers choose to go to international sites, leaving domestic offerings with a respectable 75% market share.
